This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile engineer to work as Security Engineer on the Galileo project, the European space flagship programme.

Galileo is Europe's Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), providing accurate positioning and timing information. It is funded and owned by the EU, developed by ESA and managed by EUSPA.

CETRA BASE is currently looking for 1 Security Engineer to be part of the Galileo GSMC.

The position is based near Paris (France).

Tasks and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the review and update of the EU Cyber requirements flow-down at GSMC

• Set-up the GSMC Requirement engineering process for the EU Cyber requirements, in particular the organization of the DOORS database and the importation of the EU Cyber requirements
• Supporting program reviews of requirements from the design phase to the operations, e.g. providing RIDs, for the implementation of EU Cyber requirements
• Verification of flow-down of requirements to the system, review of waivers & deviations (VCD, SoC, RfD, RfW) and provide recommendations and comments
• Prepare and update, as required, the GSMC statement of compliance to the cyber requirements
• Update of processes & procedures to flow-down the EU Cyber requirements.

Essential qualifications and experience

• University degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science
• Experience in several of the following fields:
  • Security Operations
  • Security Engineering
  • Security Assessment and Testing
  • Security and Risk Management
  • Asset Security
  • Communications and Network Security
  • Identity and Access Management
  • Software Development Security
• Excellent team worker
• Ability to work in a multicultural team
• Proficiency level in English, both written and spoken
• Eligible for security clearance
• Availability to travel within Europe

Desirable
Experience in Space programmes

Security
In line with security requirements of the Galileo mission the candidate shall be a citizen of a European Union state.
This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
